Heavy Snowfall Blankets Oregon Neighborhood

Rumble / Strange Weather - A snowstorm downed trees and power lines and led to the closure of offices, roads and schools in western Oregon on Monday, February 25. This footage is said to show the snow in the town of Springfield. The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning and forecast one to three inches of fresh snow in Springfield on Monday, and reported totals of at least 10.5 inches in the town just before noon. The local government in Springfield said its offices would be closed until 10 am on Tuesday due to the weather and a loss of power.
