According to Reuters, the estate of Michael Jackson sued HBO over a breach of contract.
The suit seeks over $100 million in damages over a documentary covering allegations of child sexual abuse.
An attorney for the estate said that the cable network and the late singer signed an agreement back in 1992, which prevented HBO from disparaging the singer by producing or selling unvetted allegations to the public.
The documentary, Leaving Neverland, is scheduled to debut on HBO in early march.
