Residents of Truckee, California, found their homes covered by large accumulations of snow on February 10. Caltrans District 3 tweeted that the summit of I-80 received 60 inches of snow in 24 hours. The National Weather Service warned of blizzard conditions in the Tahoe area. Multiple roads in Truckee were closed due to the snowy weather, the California Highway Patrol said.
