Winter is not over! Winter is more than just a season. It’s the time of the year where the cold and the snow make us want to cocoon in our secret hideaway and drink our favorite cup of tea.

Some people can handle the cold, and some people can’t. We have all been there. The snow looks fantastic and perfect from the inside, while you sip some hot cocoa in front of the fireplace. The snow makes you want to go outside and build a snowman, and enjoy the snow with some fun games. Until you go out and realize that all of that was a horrible idea and that you should have stayed home enjoying your hot cocoa. Some people say that winter is not a season, it’s a celebration.

However, for the people in California that was not the case. California had some heavy snowfall, and it had caused some problems to the citizens in California, especially for people in Truckee. Check out this video and see what we mean!

A man in Truckee, California, had to dig out his own snow blower on February 10 following heavy snowfall overnight. Terry Hilton shared a video of how he had to shovel his way to the machine that would help him clear the rest of his driveway, writing, “Found it!!! Had to shovel to get to the snowblower that’s buried in 3’.”

One of the more strong storms of the winter hit California with overwhelming precipitation, unreasonable mountain snow, and gusty breezes.

The most exceedingly bad of the storm concentrate on Central and Northern California with an elevated risk of flooding, mudslides, disintegration, control blackouts and torrential slides and street shutting down snowfall in the mountains.

Residents of Truckee, California, found their homes surrounded by large accumulations of snow on February 10, 2019. Wow! Look at all that snow! Californians will have a lot of shoveling to do this year! It’s time to get to work!

But, snow does not have to be that bad! If you like snow, there are a lot of snow sports spots in California where you can enjoy the snow and have fun! There are a lot of ski resorts and mesmerizing mountains where you can enjoy hiking and snow car rides! Winter is not that bad, right?

What do you guys think about winter? Love it or hate it?
