A suspected DUI driver was arrested after mounting a sidewalk and injuring at least nine people in downtown Fullerton, California, in the early hours of Sunday, February 10, police said. The Fullerton Police Department said 22-year-old Anaheim resident Christopher Solis drove his red Toyota Tacoma through a crowd of people on a sidewalk on West Santa Fe Avenue and crashed into a tree. Officers found several victims trapped underneath the vehicle, which was smoking and damaged, and freed them with the help of “nearby Good Samaritans” who helped lift the vehicle up. Police said 10 people between the ages of 18 and 49 were taken to local trauma centers “with injuries ranging from moderate to critical life-threatening.” Credit: @Sean_TMSW via Storyful
