Snow continued to fall on Seattle, Washington on Saturday, February 9, as seen in this video shared to Instagram by Rachel Gibbs. Temperatures were predicted to drop to 16 degrees Farenheit (-9 degrees Celsius) on Saturday night, the National Weather Service (NWS) warned. A winter storm warning was issued by the NWS which would remain in place until Tuesday, February 12. “Heavy snow possible as two storm systems move across the area,” the warning stated. “The first system will move across the area Sunday afternoon into Sunday night, bringing the potential for 1 to 3 inches of new snow. “Another system will move in quickly behind this system Monday and continue through Tuesday, bringing the potential for more significant snowfall. New snow accumulations on Monday through Tuesday of 5 to 8 inches possible.” “Be careful out there,” the NWS said in a tweet. Credit: Rachel Gibbs via Storyful
