Seattle was blanketed with snow on February 8 as Washington Governor Jay Inslee declared a state of emergency, calling the storm “unlike one we’ve seen in many years.” This footage, shot in the early morning of February 9, shows a glimpse of the snow covering the roads of the Belltown district. According to CNN, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport saw 6.4 inches of snow on February 8, the second most snow recorded in the region since 1991. Credit: Ashley Hoffman via Storyful
