Homes in Townsville Evacuated as Floodwaters Continue to Rise

Rumble - Homes in Townsville, Queensland, were evacuated on the weekend of February 2-3. Rescue crews knocked on the doors of homes in the Hermit Park area of the town, as waters continued to rise. Resident Tenneil Graham told Storyful that due to the high tide, water levels rose by up to two meters on the morning of February 3.
