After five years with no new tips, the FBI suddenly announces an arrest in the January 6 pipe-device case, and the media immediately does what the media always does: gets everything wrong.

Jake Tapper rushed to frame the suspect as a “white man from the suburbs”… until the actual photo dropped. CNN has done this before. MSNBC has done it too. Over and over, the press mislabels suspects to fit a narrative, even when the picture is right in front of them.
