Minnesota’s fraud scandal stood out even in the context of rampant theft during the pandemic, when Americans stole tens of billions through unemployment benefits, business loans and other forms of aid, according to federal auditors.”

He couldn't give a straight answer and then went straight to "but Trump." —— Tim Walz is asked about the $1B Somali fraud scandal in Minnesota. After taking zero responsibility, he attempts to shift blame to Trump. “There's a big difference between fraud and corruption. And corruption is something he knows about." Walz claimed he takes responsibility for "putting people in jail." He said governors have to solve problems. He noted that "it's not just Somalis." But the problem is he hasn't dealt with it. Most of the prosecutions are federal prosecutions, and it's really not a good flex to say it's "not just Somalis." So just how many other people have been getting away with fraud on your watch, Tim? Then Walz deflected to Trump, claiming he was demonizing Somalis. Walz declared there was a "big difference between fraud and corruption." What the heck is even talking about? Is he trying to minimize fraud? Bottom line? He didn't really answer the question.

Tim Walz has an unerring ability to say things that don't answer the questions and make him look even worse. Remember how he sunk himself during the debate with Vice President JD Vance, when Walz said he was "friends with school shooters" and that he was a "knucklehead at times." (…)
