Latam and Turkish Airlines suspend all flights to Caracas due to the US red alert

The narco-socialist regime of Nicolás Maduro has pushed Venezuela to the brink of total aerial isolation, after airlines Latam and Turkish Airlines suspended all their operations to Caracas, joining a stampede of ten companies that have severed all connections with the country. This unprecedented measure, leaving Venezuelan skies practically deserted, is a direct response to the Red Alert issued by the US Federal Aviation Administration, which warned about the dramatic deterioration of security and dangerous escalation of military activity in Venezuela and the southern Caribbean. Commercial pilots had reported malicious interference with navigation systems since September, but the FAA went further by alerting about mortal risks such as the presence of Chavista combat jets, deployed anti-aircraft systems, and even portable MANPADS missiles that could shoot down civilian aircraft by accident or deliberate action. Maduro's arsenal, financed by Russia and Iran, has become a real threat to international aviation.

The dictator Maduro's response was not long in coming, and in an act of authoritarian tantrum that only harms his own people, he decided to "revoke" operating permits for six airlines, including Iberia, Tap Portugal, Avianca, Latam, Copa Airlines and Turkish Airlines, absurdly accusing them of "state terrorism." This childish retaliation demonstrates the vengeful and anti-democratic nature of a regime that, instead of rectifying and guaranteeing safe conditions for air navigation, prefers to punish Venezuelans and deepen their confinement. While the international community warns about real risks, Chavismo responds with bravado that condemns the population to an even deeper humanitarian crisis, preventing even medical tourism and the arrival of remittances that are a lifeline for millions.

This self-imposed aerial blockade is a mortal blow to a nation already suffering the worst diaspora in its modern history. With canceled flights to Madrid, Santiago, Sao Paulo, Istanbul and other key destinations, one of the last bridges connecting Venezuela with the free world is cut. Latam's suspension affects essential daily routes, while Turkish Airlines stops its connection between Istanbul and Caracas. This is not a routine safety measure; it is the tacit recognition that Venezuela has become a pariah state, where military unpredictability and political instability create an explosive cocktail that risks innocent lives. It is the materialization of the Chavista doctrine: if the people don't submit, they will be condemned to collective suffocation.

This crisis is the direct consequence of two decades of destructive socialism, endemic corruption and alliances with the worst global tyrannies. While the free world acts to protect its citizens, Maduro's regime once again demonstrates that its priority is to maintain power at any cost, even if it means turning Venezuela into a closed prison. The international community must redouble pressure to achieve a real democratic transition, because every day under this dictatorship means more suffering, more isolation and more danger for everyone.
