Measure Ingredients Correctly

A #cup of #PersimmonPuree is 10.2 ounces, measured in a #DryMeasuringCup . If you #Google how much one cup of Persimmon Puree weighs, Google will say 8 ounces. That is wrong. If you’re one of those that, for accuracy, only use a #DigitalScale ; you run the risk of measuring incorrectly. One cup is not always 8 ounces. Don’t rely on Google, or a chart on the Internet. There’s much inconsistency, in those measuring charts. Measure your ingredients, with a dry measuring cup, or a #WetMeasuringCup ; then translate that to the digital scale. I only use a digital scale when I’m scooping more than a few cups. Sometimes, I’ll note the amount, in my recipes.
