Simu Liu WHINES About Lack of Asian Representation Despite Popularity of Asian Cinema

Marvel actor Simu Liu is upset over what he claims to be a lack of Asian representation and Hollywood’s unwillingness to cast Asians.

These latest claims from the Shang Chi star ignore the fact many Asian actors have experiences, and continue to experience, a bunch of success in Hollywood. This is not to mention the growing popularity of Asian cinema in the west, particularly from Korea. These claims from Simu Liu are more likely him being angry that his career never took off like he imagined it would have after starring in Shang Chi. Up to that point Marvel stars enjoyed franchises with huge pay days and a lot of notoriety. Since Liu starred in Shang Chi the only time people hear from him is when he’s complaining.
