The Abraham Accords: Why These Agreements Don’t Bind the Ummah of Islam

Rulers today sign treaties with Zionists, tyrants, and enemies of Islam — then tell the Ummah: “These agreements are binding.”
But Islam teaches the exact opposite.

A ruler’s signature does not bind the Ummah to falsehood, betrayal, or alliances with those who wage war against Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى and His Messenger ﷺ.
The only covenant that binds the Ummah is the covenant of faith — Tawḥīd, loyalty to Allah, obedience to the Messenger ﷺ, and solidarity with the believers.

These modern treaties — including the Abraham Accords — were never made with the consent of the Ummah, were never based on Sharīʿah, and openly violate the principles of al-walāʾ wal-barāʾ, sovereignty, and justice.

Islam obligates us to reject any agreement that:

supports the oppressor,

aids the enemies of Allah,

abandons oppressed Muslims,

normalizes tyranny or occupation,

or contradicts the Qur’an and Sunnah.

The treaties of today are the betrayals of today — and betrayal is never binding on the nation of Muḥammad ﷺ.

This reminder exposes the deception behind political “accords” and returns the Ummah to the rule of Allah alone.
