Do you take Jesus for granted? How thankful are you?

We have an incredible capacity to take things for granted. Our health, our loved ones, our freedoms…our faith. Do you take Jesus for granted? I know that I do far too often. I can get too comfortable with Jesus and I take Him way too casually.

We deserve eternal punishment yet that is not our destiny – because of Jesus. He was born for you. Suffered and died for you. Rose for you. Built His Church for you. Shares Himself through the Eucharist for you. How grateful and thankful are you? How often do you think of Jesus, thank Jesus? How often do you visit Jesus and partake of the Eucharist? We all have busy lives…good times and bad times, but through it all Jesus is always there – ready to love and offer Himself to you. Think of him, talk to Him, include Him in your life, love Him, visit Him, receive Him. Express your gratitude and thankfulness to Him – everyday, all day!!
