Note: As usual, blending "Andyfilm's" and Don Gorelick's recording for better high quality with local Portland, Oregon commercials.

Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert reviews "Hero" (Huge disagreement with these two! I really love this comedy/drama from director, Stephen Frears. With Dustin Hoffman, Geena Davis, Andy Garcia, Chevy Chase in an Uncredited role, Tom Arnold and Joan Cusack. A story about a troubled family man who becomes an unlikely hero leading to a huge mistake for someone else.); "The Mighty Ducks" (Another disagreement with Siskel & Ebert. This was and still is the Best Original Sports Comedy Story about a troubled lawyer who becomes a new coach for the Pee-Wee Hockey Team! Starring: Emilio Estevez in his best performance as Bombay along with Joshua Jackson, Shaun Weiss, Aaron Schwartz and Danny Tamberelli. Written By: Steven Brill and Directed By: Stephen Herek.); "Mr. Baseball" (Another Sports Comedy but very underrated from director, Fred Schepisi about an American Baseball player who goes to Japan to play in the major leagues and discovering Japanese culture! Starring: Tom Selleck, Ken Takakura and Dennis Haysbert.); "Of Mice and Men" (Powerful and Excellent Drama Based on the Best-Selling Novel from John Steinback with Gary Sinise who also stars and directs along with John Malkovich, Noble Willingham and Sheryl Fenn.) and the theatrical re-release of "An American in Paris".

Laserdisc Pick of the Month: Siskel's pick is "The Mambo Kings" (1991). (Sensational Music Drama with Armand Assante and Antonio Banderas.) And a recap of Today's program.

Recorded on KATU ABC 2 in Portland, Oregon with Commercials intact.
