Touched by God — Job 19:20–21 Explained

“My bones cleave to my skin… have pity upon me.” (Job 19:20–21)
Job shows what it looks like when a man is crushed, emptied, and touched by the hand of God. The cracks, the breaking, the weakness—those are His fingerprints. God draws near to the broken vessel, the contrite heart, the soul that wants to be helped. Like Kintsugi filling every fracture with gold, the Lord binds, seals, and strengthens every broken piece by His Spirit, making the vessel more beautiful than before.

Short Truth for the hurting:
When God touches you, the cracks are not a shame—they are evidence that He is shaping you.
