Polygyny in the Pulpit? (November 14, 2025)

A pastor named Rich Tidwell has considered himself married to two women, siring children with both women. Mike Winger and JD Hall have both recently targeted him, saying he has disqualified himself from ministry. His defense? David had multiple wives, and he wrote the Psalter. If he did it, it's permissible. Is he right? How should Christians who actually believe the Bible is true navigate these things?
