PITTSBURGH — On this week's episode of Issues on the Point, Darren Zaslau chats with Jamie's Dream Team founder Jamie Ward.

Jamie’s Dream Team is a Pittsburgh-based non-profit organization that provides support and resources to individuals facing significant hardships. These include those who are handicapped, disabled, terminally ill, severely injured, or battling serious medical conditions. The organization's mission is to bring hope and joy by making dreams come true for those who need it most.

Ward founded the organization in 2005 and is a McKeesport Area High School alum. She has made over 30,000 wishes come true for children and adults in need. Her stories have been shared by People Magazine, The Today Show and The Steve Harvey Show.

Jamie’s Dream Team mission is to offer hope when there is little, to ease the burden caused by serious illness, injury, disability, trauma, or catastrophic events and to finally celebrate individual differences by acknowledging dreams as possibilities.

Purpose: The purpose of Jamie’s Dream Team is to provide assistance and/or make distributions to or on behalf of qualifying individuals who are handicapped, disabled, terminally ill, severely injured or suffering from a serious medical condition, disease, or trauma.
