Jesus Was (and IS) Involved in Politics! Neil Mammen

The notion that Jesus Christ was not involved in politics is utterly false, and is disproven by a simple review of the New Testament, explains technology expert and Christian apologist Neil Mammen in this interview on Conversations That Matter with The New American magazine's Alex Newman.

Mammen, whose book "Jesus Is Involved in Politics" examines the subject in depth, argues that even Jesus had not been involved in politics, that doesn't necessarily mean Christians should not be. After all, Jesus never got married or raised children. But the truth is Jesus was deeply involved in the political process, even confronting the leaders of his time with harsh words.

In addition, Mammen argues that Christians should indeed seek to impose biblical morality on others, for their own benefit. But, he says they should make arguments based not just on the Bible, but on data, research, and statistics. He also echoes the Bible's call for Christians to always be ready to explain what they believe and why.
