The Michael Tait Scandal | A Pastor and a Therapist Respond

I met up with my college friend, Pastor Stephen Mitchell, to discuss the scandal around Michael Tait (formerly of Newsboys and DC Talk). He's been accused of engaging in sexual assault, homosexual acts, and substance abuse, much of which he's admitted to. We share our personal reactions as longtime fans of his music, and our reactions as the story has unfolded over the past few months. We address the need for reform in the Christian music industry and the narrative that gay-affirmative care would have prevented all of this.
