If you wouldn’t know the Sun had turned off, until 8 minutes and 20 seconds after it had turned off, why is the Sun visible in real time directly behind the Moon during a Solar Eclipse? If the Sun turned off in that moment, the Sun’s Corona would obviously disappear from behind the Moon, and so would the Moon’s shadow, because everywhere would be plunged into darkness and cold.
