This small copper adit, from a mid-20th-century mining venture, tells its story through abandoned 6V battery packs, a short stope, and an ore chute that would not be a place you would want to stand under. The visit was quick and careful—no glamor shots, just honest mine history and safe exploration from the portal inward. Inside, each element reveals a fragment of mining history.

I choose to keep locations vague to respect and protect these sites and the people connected to them. Exploring abandoned mines can present challenges such as poor air quality, unstable ground, or unexpected drops, so it’s safest to enjoy these places through the lens of a camera.
