Sneak Previews: 6-5-92

Jeffrey Lyons and Michael Medved reviews "Patriot Games" (The Most Exciting Action Thriller Hit of the Summer from Tom Clancy's Best-Selling Novels in the "Jack Ryan" series and a successful follow-up to "The Hunt for Red October". This time, Harrison Ford plays the CIA director, Jack Ryan who is trying to protect his family and others from terrorists after Ryan shot one of his own brother and threating him. Also stars James Earl Jones in his collaboration with Ford since "Star Wars" and was also in the previous film. Plus, Samuel L. Jackson, Anne Archer, Thora Birch, Richard Harris and Sean Bean.); "Liquid Dreams" (A Sci-Fi Thriller about Mind Control, Sexual Fantasy, Exploitation, Greed and Reality where a young woman investigating her sister's death and uncovering dark secrets down the rabbit hole. Co-written and Directed By: Mark Manos. Starring: Candice Daly.); "Beautiful Dreamers" and "Class Act" (Hilarious Teen Comedy with "Kid 'n' Play" in my opinion.)

Family Finds: "Disney's Sing-Along Songs: Be Our Guest" with "Beauty and the Beast" (1991) (Excellent Video Series of Wonderful Musical Disney Classics!)

And Screened For Teens: "R.E.M.: The Film is On" (I've been a fan of "R.E.M." since I was a kid and I later bought those albums on Cassette and CDs. I love their music and their videos were so creative, energetic and poetic!) and "Eric Clapton: The First 24" (Clapton is a legendary singer-songwriter and a wonderful guitarist and this concert video is incredible and not boring! Sorry, these teens are so full of crap and it hurts! But that's their choices, I guess.)
