Diamond Crown Tampa Toro Cigar Review - This 6.5x52 stick features a dark tan buttery smooth wrapper with a firm dense pack, triple cap and slight sweet cedar and straight tobacco aroma. First light reveals a benchmark perfect draw with plentiful thick smoke showing a medium body of straight tobacco, slightly sweet cream and building pepper through the long finish. The first third burns perfectly adding a smooth leather and coffee to the mix keeping all the base flavors through the long finish. All three bands had big thumbprints of glue, wanting to take the wrapper off with them. The 1/2 way point comes at a slow 50 minutes with notes shifting to a deeper earthy caramel, dark roast coffee and pepper dropping the sweet cream. Ending at 1:50 the last third needed a couple relights, with notes dropping the coffee but other wise remaining smooth and complex to the hot nub.
