Jesus is our 1 Mediator so can we pray to saints? Yes!

Protestants have a big problem with us Catholics praying to saints and one of their go-to Bible verses is 1 Tim 2:5, which states that “there is 1 mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus”. They reason that because Jesus is the 1 mediator that Mary or the saints therefore can’t MEDIATE on our behalf. But the weird thing is that the Catholic Church would agree – Jesus is the 1 mediator that makes us right with God. So, are Protestants correct that we shouldn’t be praying to saints? No, and I’ll explain why.
