NYC mayoral candidates make final push ahead of Election Day

In the New York City mayoral race, polls have now closed until Tuesday, meaning voters must go to their regular polling locations then if they haven’t voted early.

Early turnout has been strong, with many voters having already made up their minds, while the three mayoral candidates continue campaigning to sway undecided voters.

Andrew Cuomo emphasized his experience over Zohran Mamdani’s, warning that Mamdani would struggle against Donald Trump, ABC 7 News New York has reported.

Mamdani, who won the Democratic primary against Cuomo, defended his understanding of the city and focused on affordability issues, while Curtis Sliwa criticized Cuomo for relying on wealthy backers and claimed he was offered bribes to drop out.

Polls show Mamdani still leading, though his margin has narrowed, and he expressed skepticism about their accuracy.
