History of the APOSTLES and DISCIPLES and Women who Followed Jesus

On Traveling Through History, we follow up out episode on the History of Jesus Christ by looking at his 12 Chosen Apostles, as well as key disciples who followed him at the time of his early church when doing so often got you killed. These individuals followed Jesus and his movement, and a small group of them became trusted advisors and chosen to be an Apostle, eventually rising to "sainthood" within the Christian tradition.

We get into the history of each of these key individuals in early Christianity, the missions they fulfilled on behalf of Jesus and the movement, as well as their horrific deaths for political reasons.We take a look at a video on the apostles and their lives and impact and we comment on it.
