Golden Chalice blooms

The lovely night blooming Golden Chalice, AKA cup of gold, Copa de Oro, Hawaiian lily or Solandra maxima, blooms quite quickly at shortly after sundown. The new bloom is creamy white with vivd purple stripes inside the large trumpet shaped flower. By day three, the blossom will be a deep golden yellow as seen it the flower behind this new bloom.
