The Protestant Unity Myth - 3 Major Contradictions

We critique the common Protestant assertion that they are unified by the Bible and Jesus. This claim is a falsehood that masks profound disunity and contradictory core beliefs. Three major areas of division exist, among others: salvation, where different denominations clash over whether faith alone or faith plus works is required; baptism, with disagreement on who should be baptised and whether the act is essential or merely symbolic; and church leadership, highlighting conflicts between those who advocate for hierarchical structures like bishops and those who favour congregational or charismatic models.
Ultimately, the Protestant emphasis on the Bible and Jesus has resulted in a "fractured mess" of conflicting interpretations, rather than genuine Christian unity.
