Cervids are one of our favorite mammal groups, with elk right up there near the top of the list! I filmed this large elk herd bedding down in a field in Idaho a few days ago on a windy gray morning. I didn't have a tripod with me that day, so I had to film the long distance telephoto shot handheld (resulting in some shaky footage). Enjoy! Lochlainn
