October 28, 2005 - DePauw President Robert Bottoms Speaks a Day After Mikhail Gorbachev's Visit

Dr. Bottoms speaks at the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Awards Reception and Banquet on Friday night, October 28, 2005. The day before, Mikhail Gorbachev had visited DePauw University to present an Ubben Lecture, and the college was celebrating news that it planned to create a new Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics and launch a major expansion of its Performing Arts Center to benefit the DePauw School of Music.
