This session took place on October 27, 2005 in a dance studio in DePauw University's Lilly Center, adjacent to the gymnasium (Neal Fieldhouse) where Gorbachev delivered a Timothy and Sharon Ubben Lecture. In this session, Gorbachev is asked about the Iraq war, Vladimir Putin, and communism.

The session was supposed to be brief (10 minutes) and Gorbachev stops the moderator, Ken Owen, from ending the session at the allotted time, telling him "I'm the president."
