Marco Rubio: “We Want Gaza to Have a Future Free from Hamas Terror”

Marco Rubio stated that the goal of the international community is to help create the necessary conditions for the people of Gaza to live without fear of Hamas’s control. According to Rubio, the aim is for the residents of the enclave to lead normal lives, with jobs, businesses, and a better future, free from any terrorist influence.

Rubio emphasized that this effort is not solely led by the United States, but rather a global initiative supported by more than two dozen countries, including Arab states and a majority of Muslim nations. All of them, he explained, signed a commitment to ensure that Gaza remains demilitarized and that Hamas has no ability to threaten Israel.

“We fully expect all countries to uphold those commitments,” he concluded.
