Transportation Secretary Duffy Discusses Government Shutdown Impact on Air Travel

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy held a news conference at Philadelphia International Airport to discuss how the federal government shutdown impacted U.S. transportation, specifically in regard to air traffic controllers. He said controllers would not see a paycheck the following week and that the ongoing shutdown may result in more cancellations and delays. Duffy was joined by Nick Daniels, president of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association.
