George Warren Shufelt was a geophysicist and mining engineer from the United States. His most famous invention was a device he called a “radio X-ray,” which could locate underground tunnels and cavities. Shufelt gained widespread attention in the 1930s in Los Angeles for his assertion that a lost city had been inhabited below us.
