ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CAPTURED IN CHICAGO Linked To Vicious Colorado Kidnapping!

A 12th suspect in the December kidnapping at the Edge at Lowry apartments in Aurora has been arrested, bringing all individuals charged in the case into custody, police say. The suspect, Jorman Jose Cuba-Zabala, 26, was apprehended on April 28 in Chicago and extradited to Colorado. He faces multiple felony counts, including second-degree kidnapping, aggravated robbery, menacing with a deadly weapon, and extortion. Authorities say the December 17 attack involved armed assailants who abducted a Venezuelan immigrant couple, held them in a vacant unit, and tortured them for hours before releasing them. Aurora Police Chief Todd Chamberlain called the crime one of the most violent in recent years, and officials continue to seek evidence in the investigation.

This case comes as Chicago spirals into chaos amid escalating anti-ICE protests, where activists clash with federal agents and city officials turn a blind eye. Under Mayor Brandon Johnson and Governor JB Pritzker, the city has increasingly become a safe haven for illegal immigrants, many of whom now see Chicago as a refuge from deportation.
