A rare gift of winter sun ☀️ — warm, still, and dazzlingly clear. On this calm July day, Lake Wairarapa shimmered like a South Island glacier lake, with surreal cyan tones and perfect mirror reflections.
Rather than chasing a personal best, this ride became an exploration of moments — a chance to stop, breathe, and appreciate the beauty of midwinter serenity 🚴‍♂️🌿

Motorbikes became an unexpected theme throughout the day — from a roaring group to a puttering solo rider — each weaving its sound into the rhythm of the trail. A ride of reflection, stillness, and sound.
