MZTV 1845: Jesus Explains the End of the World

The "end of the world" is not the end of everything. It is the end of a PARTICULAR world.

The word "world in Greek is "kosmos." It means “system.” It is the way things are run during a certain period of eonian history. This current world will end when man’s activity is shoved off the table and God‘s activity begins in an obvious way. And there is the key to the end of this world: it will come in an obvious way.

If people have to argue about whether it is here or not, or if a certain event is the end of the world, then it’s not the end of the world. The second coming of Christ comes with great visible signs that could not possibly be mistaken. That is the great lesson today that we learn from Matthew, chapter 24.

I begin this video by recommending that you watch yesterday‘s video, which was Part 1 of a series I did 13 years ago on the book of Hebrews. Even though this is not a letter written to the body of Christ, it is a fine education on where we are on the eonian calendar.
