Revealing The Niagara Falls of the West | Shoshone Falls

Shoshone Falls doesn’t whisper. It roars. Five bucks gets you into the park, where hiking trails wind through the scrub and picnic tables perch over the edge of the world. There’s an observation deck where you can lean into the roar, or just sit and watch the water fall, endlessly, relentlessly. Bring a kayak if you want to meet the Snake River on its own terms. Bring a camera if you want to remember how small you really are.

This is not a roadside attraction. It’s a reminder. The West still has teeth, and Shoshone Falls is one of the few places where you can feel it bite.
