Biblical Audio Commentary – Islamic Hudna & Taqiyya: Illusions & Lies

You’ll pardon me for not being overly optimistic about the Israel-Hamas Peace Deal that has just been finalized. As you’ll see in this Commentary, there is no way that it will last, nor will it bring peace and security of any kind to Israel. Yes, thank God that presumably the remaining living hostages will be returned, but the deal simply sets up the circumstances for the next and possibly worse hostage taking adventure by Hamas. As has been seen, hostages are the key to making Israel dance to Hamas’ tune regardless of the opportunities Israel has to destroy the terror group. And, frankly, I hope it doesn’t happen, but it wouldn’t surprise me in the least for Hamas to pull some kind of nasty trick. Everyone the world over appears to be celebrating. Israel is jubilant even though none of the hostages have yet been returned. The situation reminds me of the comic strip Peanuts where Lucy holds the football for Charlie Brown, and she inevitably pulls it away before he can kick it. My trust regarding Hamas doing the right thing is much lower than my depending on Lucy to do so.
