Rumble / Cats & KittensThis obese cat LOVES nothing more than getting his rear end scratched. Taddy is the name of this adorable cat. He is a domestic short haired cat from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. What makes this video interesting is the fact that sweet little Taddy is enjoying his daily scratching so much that he appears to make car-like noises during it. Veterinary nurse, Caitlyn Howell, 33, shot the video after Taddy was brought into the animal shelter.

Before starting to play this video, check the sound on your phone, laptop, or other device that you use to watch the video. Make sure to turn the sound up completely because you do not want to miss one second of this hilarity!

When the video begins, viewers will see Taddy standing inside of a rectangular box that looks like it could be his litter box. It is not clear why he is standing in the litter box, but he obviously does not mind it one bit. One of the people caring for him begins to give this cat his daily love. This partially comes in the form of scratches. Most cats like getting a little scratch now and then, but not all of them like for their rear ends to be petted or scratched. For most, that provides too much stimulation, and it can cause them to become momentarily aggressive and swat at the human. However, that is not the case here with Taddy.

You will hear him making his “revving up” sound as he gets scratched. Many domestic short haired cats are very vocal like this cat. They can make some of the strangest noises, which can be seen in this video.
The more the human scratches, the louder this cat gets. He is obviously in his happy place!

Taddy was in his kennel at the vet’s office when this video was taken. He was brought to the vet after being dropped off at the town’s local animals shelter. There are millions of dogs and cats all over the country looking for their forever homes like Taddy. All of them have their own unique personalities, and they are sure to bring great joy to the lives of whomever is lucky and fortunate enough to adopt one of these beautiful angels. Instead of searching out breeders and purchasing just pure bred dogs or cats, consider visiting your local animal shelter. The best pets are often those that desperately needed a home.
