TikTok has reportedly started censoring the juice emoji, often used to reference Jewish people, along with comments critical of AIPAC and Israel. Interestingly, the app labels the restriction as a policy violation related to “alcohol, tobacco, and drugs”. This move has sparked speculation that the censorship may be connected to the appointment of TikTok’s new owner, Larry Ellison, a pro-Israel and Jewish figure.

Multiple TikTok users have taken to X to highlight a surprising new censorship: the juice emoji is now being blocked on the platform. Anyone commenting with the emoji finds their comment removed, accompanied by a warning that reads, “Your comment has been removed because of policy violations in alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.” TikTok also cautions that further violations could lead to strikes on the user’s account.

Social media users are having a field day trolling the new TikTok owner while also expressing concerns about free speech. One user wrote, "Imagine being frightened by a cartoon juice box."

Another user on X joked, "Banning an EMOJI of JUICE! This EMOJI has seen us through some great times! Elon Musk should bring that Emoji here, as we got some pineapple mutant versions." "So the emoji is now 'forbidden fruit'?" "Only on TikTok," one mentioned.

"Isn't it amazing how the so-called 'Conservative influencers' don't care about Free Speech anymore when it comes to Zionists and Israel?" added one user.
