The REAL Reason Fans Think Boots Ennis Is a Hater of Terence Crawford

In a recent interview with YSM Sports, Jaron Boots Ennis was asked his thoughts on the Canelo vs Terence Crawford fight. Boots said, and I quote - I fell asleep, and I didn't watch the fight.

I trained twice that day. I saw some highlights on Instagram, but that's it. It was a great win for Crawford and good for him. When asked, was he surprised that Terence Crawford won?

Boots replied by saying, "This is boxing, and anything can happen." End quote.
The crazy part about Boots' comments is this. Canelo is on record on video saying that Boots Ennis reached out to me to help me prepare for Crawford.

I didn't call him; he called me. So you want me to believe that you didn't watch a fight that you voluntarily called Canelo to help him prepare for, only to turn around and not watch the fight?

I find that very hard to believe. Even if you didn't watch the fight that night, I'm sure you watched the replay on Netflix. Why? Because it's still there for everyone to see.

Terence Crawford is the same fighter that your handlers, such as Steven Espinosa and Eddie Hearn, and your supporters compare you to. When I look at the comment section, everyone is ripping Boots, calling him a hater.

Boots looked disingenuous in his response. In another YSM interview, Boots looked visibly irritated when the interviewer stated that everybody, including Bozy Ennis, said that Terence Crawford is one of the goats of boxing for beating Canelo.

A guy whom Boots Ennis volunteered to help beat Crawford. The interviewer asked Boots, and I quote. Do you think Crawford deserves to be on the Mount Rushmore of boxing? Boots said, and I quote: Everybody has their own opinion.

The interviewer asked Boots, Who do you like? Boots replied: In my opinion, I like who I like. I like Roy Jones, Floyd Mayweather, Pernell Whitaker, Sugar Ray Leonard, and James Toney.

Boots looked visibly irritated at the question. The fans in the comment section ripped Boots, saying things like Boots is a hater. Boots is starting to sound like Tank.

Boots didn't like the fact that Bud beat Canelo after Canelo gave him that work in sparring. Stop asking this goofy questions about Crawford, bro is salty.

Yo, real talk, we don't need to hear or see homie until he fights somebody. Let him fly under the radar and get his bread because that's really his goal; his goal isn't to fight real names. Tank ran that scheme to the ground now.

Boots don't even know how to hate Crawford now! Bud made him eat his words, and now he's feeling uncomfortable with questions. One fan said that Boots talks like he lacks confidence.
