Ukrainian military units continue to strike Russian Black Sea ports using naval drones and aircraft. Following the attack on Novorossiysk on Wednesday, the port of Tuapse has also been threatened, according to Russian authorities on social media. The target of the Ukrainian naval drones is the Tuapse oil terminal, one of Russia’s largest terminals for transshipment of oil onto tankers. “Unmanned boats have been detected in the waters of the Black Sea! Residents and guests of the Tuapse district are strongly advised to leave the coastal zone!” the head of the Tuapse municipal district, Serhiy Boyko, said on Telegram earlier that day. He also instructed citizens to leave the central part of the city by evening.

Meanwhile, a video allegedly shot in Tuapse has been circulating on social media, showing queues, explosions and attempts to hit maneuvering objects in the water. Locals say there are communications outages in Tuapse. Despite government calls to avoid the coastal zone and refrain from filming, video footage shows numerous bystanders filming the "battle" in the port on their phones. In the wake of the attack in Tuapse, authorities in Sochi, 60km to the south, have announced the evacuation of beachgoers. However, there have been no reports of drones there. Ukrainian forces also struck two oil facilities in the Volgograd region today.
