Delta State University has shut down their campus events during their centennial celebrations after delivering shocking news. In a statement, the University shared that a “deceased individual” was found on campus.
His body was discovered by staff, and while authorities suspect it may have been self-inflicted, this has not yet been confirmed. In response, the university cancelled all classes and centennial events, assured the community that the campus is safe, and made counseling services available as the investigation continues.
