Why did Noah curse Canaan instead of Ham and what was his sin in the bible?

Christians often get confused in the story in genesis when noah decides to curse Canaan instead of ham. Sam Shamoun shows that according to the bible he was called out of the 3 sons for exposing his fathers nakedness and now in biblical language this doesn’t mean what it is face value but from what we know in the law that moses revealed it means to commit incest with his fathers wife which is his son and is the reason the canaanites were guilty of his sin that he commit.
