The band Daedric was originally just an idea between members Callum Lacey, Alex Bayliss and Jordan Sheffield. They wanted to combine the heavier sounds of metal bands they had heard and loved with a more melodic approach.The band combines a very european approach of melodic metal with a harder edge possessed by American bands, the result was Daedric, a melodic metal band formed in September 2013.

Daedric is an alternative rock and metal project that combines heavy synth-based rock with strong female vocals. Vocalist and artist Kristyn Hope, along with producers Geoff Rockwell and Clay Schroeder. The name “Daedric” is inspired by the lore of the game The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. Their music blends contemporary rock and metal with throwback synths to create a unique sound. Their debut single, “Wretched”, was well-received.
