Back in the Day: Chapter 2 - Remember

Back in the Day, our friends would all come out to our house in the woods and enjoy time together chilling around a campfire. For a few years, this was just what we did. The sound sets the tone of remembering memories, followed by abrupt shifting sound with the throwback of an external disc drive CD burner reading an album (which was a luxury back in the day when creating physical mixtapes to get to folks around our hometown in Texas). Most all of the music on this project was created before the days of streaming services online and has never been on the internet like this, so the choice here to add the sounds are just a reflection of that time.

The picture is a photograph taken after my first headline show playing my music live. Ran a 90 minute set in my hometown to a great crowd and even had Willie AKA Young Dyno join me on stage for his first ever performance. The picture includes me holding the mirror prop I had on stage, my brother Luke, Young Dyno, my first producer Greg, my Dad, our friend Dee & our friend Katherine who took the photo after the show. Classic moment in time & one of my favorite pictures too. It is here as an album introduction, as it will also be the album cover when the full album project is posted online to streaming services October 3rd.
