Kim Strassel: D.C. Says It Had a ‘Remarkable’ Reduction in Crimes, But Investigations Show They’ve Downgraded the Crime List

There is a real reason to distrust the numbers there. But on your point about mayors, look at Muriel Bowser in D.C. She started out by saying this is outrageous. This is a terrible and now she’s like this search is not been that bad. One reason is because the police department welcomes us with open arms are having terrible trouble recruiting because of laws D.C. Has passed and make it suffer the police. They are putting pressure. And the people in these districts that Jason talked about her same results too.”
